Sophomore Bryson Shirk tied the Ohio High School Athletic Association single game record for steals when he snagged 14 against Calvary Christian on December 12th. Only a week prior to his record night he set the Emmanuel Christian single game record with nine steals against Middletown Christian. Ten days later, Shirk delivered another double-digit steals performance, powering the Lions to a 79–73 victory over Southeastern with 24 points and 10 steals.
